Are all these loans (should the Traore rumors prove correct) worrisome to anyone else? It's become a significant expenditure, which is all well and good when you sell £39 million worth of players, but from where will the funds come to replace the players returning to their parent clubs?

Laughing.

Just read the FA rules for work permits.

The FOUR months period relates to unsuccessful application and reapplication. By the same club.

Not for a situation like this.

This means if Bobby wants him. He's ours next week. Regardless of West Ham.

They HAVE to cancel it within 5 days if requested by the player. Or the Home Office and immigration can take action against them.

Thanks Matt.

gutted Martinez doesn't sound like he's looking for a CM, its a position that we really need, Spurs letting Capoue leave the club we should look to bring him in would be a brilliant signing

You're not wrong on Capoue but we don't know that Martinez isn't looking at a CM. we all knew we needed a striker, we might well be in for a midfielder before the windows over.

New contract for Baines.

New striker in bound.

Will try and sign Lukaku on a perm in the summer.

I'm just gonna take a moment to cry with happiness.

I'm cracking one out at our transfer kitty.

“I’ve got plenty of money, don’t worry. It’s not about the finances,” said Martinez, who can use Kevin Mirallas through the middle if necessary with the Belgium attacker having played there while at Olympiakos.

“We are in a great position. Every window you need to finish with the squad stronger than when it opened and that is what we are driving towards.

“We have got money because we managed to get £40m for three players. But what is important is not spending money for the sake of it, but with a clear, long-term strategy.

“For me that is very important. I need to keep the August window in consideration as well.

“January is a really difficult window. You are not going to get a player who is performing well for his club, because they are not going to sell him now.

“It is a hard window because you need to identify players who can fit into your squad who are not fitting into other squads. That doesn’t go hand-in-hand with having a lot of money to spend.

“It is different in August. I would never forgive myself for spending money cheaply now and miss spending that money in August when I know I could really invest it well.”
