Yep, around £11m. I remember some of our fans comparing that to the £13m we paid for McCarthy.
Give them the dosh and Heitinga. Although that 8 rising to 11 is a superb deal.

Twente sold approx 25% of his transfer rights last week to a 3rd party called "Doyen Sports".

I would imagine that makes it less likely to happen anyway, but if we are serious about it then I would guess that this would seriously complicate it

I can see Pienaar being benched and the 3 behind the striker being Barkley, Tadic and Mirallas in whatever order if we get Tadic. End of the day him coming in will give us quality options and I can see Pienaar doing something similar to Osman by coming on with 30 minutes to go and changing the game.

Also bear in mind Gerard unlikely to be with us next season, so Mirallas / McGeady the two for the right wing.

Not sure whether Pienaar will be here next season - get the feeling he might head back to South Africa.

Juve for sure, but Milan aren't good anymore. Obviously the huge back history and prestige might get a player to join them, but they haven't got a euro to their name. Italian football is crippled with debt.

Hmmm, Milan are struggling with finances. But to foreign players like Fernando, clubs like Milan are still a bigger pull for them than the likes of us, even if they are skint and struggling to make Europe, well, they wont even make Europe next season they've been that poor.

But just seems odd we definitely wanted him in summer, yet now there's no noises of us being back in for him, possibly on cheap, as he still hasn't signed a new deal with Porto and could be gettable at a knock down fee?!

We must of give up on him thinking he's made his mind up to go elsewhere like Milan or somewhere maybe?!
