But then 'finish the window stronger than we started it', selling Jelavic, plus the new long term injuries to add to the ones we already had. It just wouldn't make sense for us not to be involved. Obviously the next 24 hours will reveal all but I'm starting to convince myself that Roberto is a fibbing get and we're in advanced talks with a couple of class players.

I'll be honest sir. I spent £14 in the Tesco's earlier on sugary treats. All in anticipation for tomorrows deadline day.

This thread should take me to the frenzy state I'm hoping for.

I wasnt aware our system required a striker to stand around with his hands on his hips for 90minutes.

He's a really good player albeit, not the most hard-working. Great touch, passing, link up play and when he gets a chance he scores. He would work well in our system because we have a lot of the ball in advanced areas. The reason you see him 'stood around with hands on his hips' is because Fulham are tosh and don't have a lot of the ball. He doesn't like working hard and chasing the ball down, don't think he's have to do that here. Also, for Fulham he's a class above the rest of the players, if we could have him here with Barkley, Mirallas, Pienaar, Baines, Coleman etc. I'm sure he'd score / create plenty.

Despite all that, I don't think he's ever gonna join.

I told my RS neighbour earlier in the week that if we signed Tom Ince, Paul Ince or even Paul Ince's Mrs I'd mow his lawns.
