I'd he happy with a decent midfielder in tomorrow, on loan or permanent. I'd love to see somebody like Jordy Clasie in, but we don't have/won't spend big money. If we got Canales it'd be another option, but it would still not solve the issues we have in central midfield, as neither him or Barkley are natural deep-players, although Barkley could play there if needed.

I think we'll get somebody in, and hopefully if Johny goes we may even get 2, but I doubt it

I'd have Nugent, been scoring for fun for Leicester, 17 goals this season. He'd walk to Everton too if he had the chance to play for us.

No way Leicester would sell him though, not right now. Right in the middle of a great run and chance of promotion to the Premier League.

The fuming would be for a few days, then there'd be a few grumbles, followed by a few shoulder shrugs, followed then by a few quietly uttered 'tsk's, and then 'clap. clap, clap'...and on we go toward another transfer window in the summer when they take the piss again. Repeat above.

Out of curiosity I google'd Jordy Clasie and you're right, he's the calibre we should be aiming for. I haven't seen him play so I won't pretend that I think he'd be perfect for us, but I don't see whats unrealistic about him. Highly rated young Dutch international playing for Feyenoord? We could get him if we wanted him.

He's a very decent player and can play deep or as a No.10. Would probe cost around £8mil but is the type of midfielder we need imo.

Tomas Rincon is available and he would deffo do the job, plus we've been linked before.
