Moyes, Fellaini and Neville were all on the wage bill on the financial statements just released.

we can't just release him on a free......he has a contract for another 6 months on about £60k a week.......we would have to pay out his contract to release him (£1.44m).....our only hope of offloading him is if another club offers him the same wages today. If this doesn't happen (and heitinga isn't overly bothered whether he's playing or not) then Heitinga will just wait out the remainder of his deal, and then accept a likely paycut at a new club in the summer.....
 
Whilst many are in premature fume, what would you say if Roberto came out and said "listen up Blues, Club X have offered Bale-esque money for Barkley and Coleman combined....but we won't spend it till the Summer, even though they leave tonight"?

Would it be fume overload, or would you consider it a reasonable thing to do...ie. sell the crown jewels but wait until Summer to rebuild?
