Silva must go

I think we (Everton) are in trouble and I think that shortly the manager may be in trouble, but for now I forget about that until after the game on Saturday and hope for a good result.

At least the attitude against City was very good and that is a good starting point.

At some point tho and im not saying it should be Silva, but at some point we surely have to give a manager time?

All the best managers in this league were given time.

I mean if Silva keeps losing games he will be punted and rightly so, but we as a fanbase need some god damn patience.

Again im not saying 3 defeats on the bounce isnt enough to be questioning this fella, but some people wanted him sacked from day 2.

It’s the calibre of teams walking over us for me. It’s shocking who we’ve slapped by this season. You couldn’t look at one of them and say ‘they were good fair play’

Agree, what is frustrating though is he had us running nicely at the end of last season and now the defence is broken again, how do people unlearn stuff?

Granted Gana and Zouma leaving was a challenge but the fundamentals of team defending didn't leave with them.

I get that, I honestly could understand the Villa and Bournemouth results, cos I believe that away games are difficult in this league, but defo not the performances, we were poor and we got blown away. Hes really undone all the good work he did at the end of the season, Fulham apart you got the impression we had started to click.

But the Sheff United result was just disgusting.

Look if he keeps losing games he will be punted, but if he can pick up some results and get us back on track, well thats a different story.

Im not his biggest fan, I didnt want him before he came, but if he does well and wins games, well im easily pleased, I only want Everton to win games.

The sad part is,it's completely taken the shine of those good end of season displays for me. He is Mr Inconsistent but he does it in bunches.

I just like the anarchy that comes with sacking a manager tbh

The drama that comes with the hapless ssn announcing it, the hapless media speculating which hapless dope the hapless Mr Moshiri is lining up next

I'm glad I could help.

End of season or not though, you still have to go out and beat the Utd's, Arsenals and Chelsea's, you'd still get a hammering with the wrong attitude. Unless you are pertaining to the fact we simply had no pressure on us? Obviously that's another question, do you think they crumble under pressure, that seems to be an Everton thing for quite a while.

I don't like end of season results that have no bearing on anything mate i could be wrong but didn't Fulham beat us in between those good results? I don't think there is much doubt about us crumbling under pressure.

Yes, we were still inconsistent, alludes to my original point about not being able to beat the teams around us, inconsistent.

Get over it. Man City was beaten by newly promoted Norwich City recently. Aston Villa gave Arsenal a really good game. No premiership team has a divine right to win games.
