It could be that Bill has been waiting for us to move, make sure we are in a safe economical position before reliquishing his grasp.

If so, he may become a blue legend himself!

This is not to do with moving, but I sometimes think people can't see past their noses on some issues (Toffeeweb, DM, BK, KW hint hint hint)

I have had many emotional days and nights at goodison park probably some of the best moments of my life have been had there but to keep up
with our competition we have to move it hurts saying it but it has to be done and no digger or excavator can ever take away the memories for me sometimes you have to move with the times and if we do i can see many more great memories round the corner.

But I get the feeling that because the move is being initiated by BK and KW that it is automatically being met by disdain by certain sections of our support (who just seem intent on bashing everything they do, remember 8.6mill was waaaaaayyyy over the odds for AJ).

I support moving because it is what the club needs to move forward. I have been to Goodison many times during my life, and it holds many memories for me too (although not as many as most of you guys ;) ) I think if people get up in arms over a line that ONLY exist on city maps (remember, only 3 miles, I run more than that 3 times a week)then they are silly.

[Sarcasm]Maybe we could ground-share with Tranmere while they re-develop Goodison.[/Sarcasm] But sure as hell ground share with Tranmere than contemplate the unthinkable.

move

we need to move goodison is a grand old ground no doubt about it but look at it, look close how long has it got left take a look at the toilets, walls, seats, just price up replacing all the wood seats they would need to be made special me thinks

the longer it takes to move the more it will cost us and how long can we keep building our team with 40,000 for home games. to be honest i think if we stay we will never again challenge the big boys without a billionaire behind us, the best we can hope for is top 6 but think on for how long can we look for top 6 eh. newcastle, boro, man utd, liverpool, arsenal, chelsea off the top of my head have bigger grounds meaning more money per season than us who else is growing while we stay the same villa, west ham if they dont lose the sheff utd thing, and then look at the championship they have had 4 or 5 multi millionaires take clubs over. so if we stay the same for the next ten years and these clubs grow we could be back to religation battles every season

ive read someone said man utd 1 0, villareal and a few other big games at goodison well there will be other big games, great come backs, great wins etc at the new ground that you can bank on

i wonder if there was this much discontent when we left anfield after all we had a championship win there, big games, great victorys and so on

maybe its because im an outsider but i think we have to move and soon goodison cant have much done to increase the gates without a fortune being spent, a fortune we aint got
