Tonight, a new cork will be cracked...and no, I haven't emptied the others you weirdos. Need a selection to suit the mood of the day, innit...that's what we tell the precious, anyhow.

Got a bottle of Springbank (Campbeltown) for my birthday. Have drunk half of it but the bottle's still 'half full'. lol
One of my favourite, if not my favourite when in the right mood, drops. Absolutely fantastic stuff. If you ever get a chance to try the 25 yo then make sure you do. It is absolutely bloody handsome.

I first tried it when in Edinburgh for England v Scotland rugby international (1990's) Went into a specialist 'single malt' shop and asked for recommendations. The guy recommended the Springbank and I bought half-a-dozen minatures which me and my mate saw off at half-time. Been sold on it ever since.

All my favourite whiskies come from islay. I was excited when this new distillery opened up. I got a bottle from them and wasn't disappointed. Lovely stuff.

Agree also about having a lot of bottles on the go to suit your mood or taste. It's not as if it goes off!

Same here, for the most part...just got hold of these two, so we'll see how they hold up.

Yup... My issue right now is that I was primarily a bourbon guy for a long time but I just got "tired" of it, even though I don't drink enough to just be tired of it from having too much. There's just not a whole lot of variety going on in the bourbon world due to reg's and nothing's topped Angel's Envy for me, so I'm good there. On the flip side, Scotch has got a plethora of things going on so I'm buying up stuff just to find my primary dram preferences and it makes me look like I have a problem...and I do, but it's not the drink.

Glengoyne. This one seems to have passed me by. Got a selection of miniatures at Christmas
Ten Year Old Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Whisky - Front
I quite liked it's taste so I'll be dropping hints for my birthday in a few weeks.
Had a tour at the distillery a couple of months ago with my 2 sons, would recommend it to anyone who likes a dram. We got dropped off but there's a bus stop outside and it's about 45 mins into Glasgow where we had a few more and finished off with a curry, almost the perfect day.
