The US navy will be doing their utmost to retrieve the capsule, so to learn what China has actually been doing.

Not sure what all the fuss is about this? Even if it is a balloon with sinister intentions, isn’t it the case that the US spy on China and others all day every day. What’s the difference ?‍

Obviously they all spy on each other. But what if it had been carrying a bomb. Shooting it down over the Atlantic sounds fine so as it didn’t fall on anyone, but why wasn’t it shot down over the Baring sea/Pacific before it actually arrived. There will be some serious discussions to follow over this…..

Got spoiled mate, I’m a lucky man. Got some nice clobber, fancy trainees, a cup therapy machine, some chocky, PJs, slippers and some stand up paddleboarding lessons.

And of course I got loads of dead nice posts on here which is the main thing.

I would imagine it is just testing to see how early the US detected it, and what they would do about about it.
