China said it had also spotted UFOs near its own waters and was preparing to shoot them down.

Apparently it came in from the Pacific side of the US, Alaska first then in to Canada before entering the continental US, it hasn’t been anywhere near the Atlantic.

I’d imagine the US military will have been aware of, and tracking it for most of it journey and if they don’t think it’s worth shooting down, I suppose it just makes the Chinese look weak.

UFO's turning up won't even be the wordiest thing that's happened so far this decade. That sums up the state of the world. If it's over it's over and we only ave ourselves to blame. I might send that to Imogen Thomas and see if she fancies a final fling.

Anyway, wouldn't it be ironic if the US had their own spy metrological balloons, drones and planes (U2 etc.) that violated other country's airspace?
