He still has something to offer and I'd be more than happy to see him here on a 2-3 year deal.

I think he regrets signing that long Galaxy deal, he should have come here sooner. But then this doesn't really match up with that does it? Meh.

Why the hell would he even consider retiring at 30, with no injury troubles, and a queue of good European clubs that would happily sign him, one of them being an experience he likened to going to Disney World for the 1st time? Just plain bizarre if he does, but again, I think come January he'll be an Everton player full time.

Oh come on... Only back in may/June he was talking about how he wants more than anything to come back and play for Everton. He was saying how he had 2 yrs left on his contract and he'd be definately going back to LA for this season then see what happens.

All of a sudden there's a change about how after this season he's tired of football may retire ect ect... That he needs a break and HE will decide whether he come back to play for galaxy...

It's all a ploy to get out of the last year of his contract or at least to be allowed to move on to a fresh challange early. I wouldn't be suprised if MLS are in on it aswell to not lose face.

Either way Landon will not be retiring at 30! I'm 90% confident he will be an efc player by January!
