Im sure Kay said he wasnt due back till the 31st.
And that it's only the junior players training now, not the seniors.
You'd think that Grant Wahl wouldn't be reporting on him not being there unless he was supposed to be.

This morning, Bruce Arena said Donovan will return to the Galaxy, but a date had not been set. He may be repeating the front office stance on the subject, but it explains the absence.

I don't believe Bruce Arena's quotes for anything. The club is denying Lampard and we all know where that's going. Note that Bruce didn't say anything about where LD is playing.
Until 1/31 rolls around I'm not concluding anything even if Landon is at camp tomorrow.

Camp started today but a few senior side players are still missing: Omar Gonzalez and AJ De la Garza are with the National Team, and Robbie Keane is still training with Spurs. If senior side members are missing gives LD a few more days off.
It was reported on by many journalists because of national team matters - if LD wasn't at camp, what does that mean for his "retirement" on the eve of qualifying.
Again, I think you can't say anything until 1/31 passes. I have no idea where he is going, but Bruce Arena is well known to play games with the press. He was one of the ones saying "no loan" last year.
