Devoid of pace, a first touch and a finish it seems.
Good summary of Donovan.

Back on topic, I don't see how getting two, maybe three years of boss wing play is not a good thing.
Gets on my tits.
Our biggest problem is squad depth, it's like people want us to be signing these boss players to replace members of our starting eleven when what we really need is players of equal quality as backup. Donovan fits that description perfectly.
I would accept an argument that his wages would be too steep or that his fee would be too high (though I've not seen enough evidence to convince me that he's not a financially viable option).
I thought he was poor during his last spell, can only assume he's lost even more pace now.
Thought he was excellent for us mate, not sure which games you were watching

Tell me that's a joke? I thought he was superb, just settled straight in like he had never been away.
He potentially solves so many problems for us.
Mirallas out injured - Play Donovan RW
Gibson injured - Drop Fellaini back, play Donovan AcM
Pienaar injured - Landon's your man.
Jelavic injured/Vic not fit - Donovan can play up top.
I think he has evolved into a different player between spells. Going from what the American lads have been saying, he maybe has lost a bit of pace but has become less reliant on it. He has developed a bit more of a brain.Just my opinion. I thought he lacked the cutting edge he had in his first spell.
