Sir Landon Of Donovan

That's squad player prices and we'd be getting an experienced versatile attacking player who knows the club. I wouldn't want to neglect youth either but I'm hoping Martinez will rotate the squad more than Moyes did, hopefully giving more players more opportunities.

The fact he can play four positions as well is a big plus. Makes sense to get Donovan back if he is truly up for it.

I love Landon I really do, just like alot of blues I thought he brought a calm head and good technical ability and balance to the side.

Id love him back for a year or two.

But blues....

Lets let it go...

Thought he was good when he came here; creative and intelligent in attack and he worked hard, tracked back and closed down.

Shame he's getting on a bit now, but you know what? If we're happy to spend £6.5m on Kone who'll turn 30 when the season is a few months old, then i'm quite happy to spend a £1m-£2m on someone like Donovan who looks after himself very well.

If we're happy to 'pad' the squad out a bit with Kone and Alcaraz, then Donovan can't be sniffed at, at a good price.
