Scotland looked very good in the autumn internationals and will battle with Ireland for runners up.

I write France off with trepidation as they certainly have the players to mount a challenge but we shall see if it is Jekyll or Hyde who turn up.

As for Wales not this year.

Italy will do what they always do challenge for 60 minutes then get battered in the final 20.

Difficult to call this year as so many top players from most teams are out injured

And that’s the rub
England have too many players out to be serious contenders
Even with a much smaller pool of talent to draw from Ireland have a stronger fit squad.
Ireland’s disadvantage is that we play France and Wales away

Ireland may well lose in England but Scotland are looking a good bet this year.

WOOLS and Tory perverts game

A few years ago, I`d have agreed mate.

But my eldest lad started playing a few years ago, initially as something else to do other than play footy.

He now much prefers it over footy.

He still plays both, but now plays rugby to a very high standard and once you understand the rules, it`s a fantastic game to watch.
