Slovenia 1-0. Italy getting down to business and are flinging themselves to the ground with RECKLESS ABANDON!!. Howard Webb is the ref.

I was impressed by Howard in that instance. Thing about Webb is that he's a fair ref and doesn't favor either side. However even though he evens up the calls there is no rhyme or reason why he makes some of them.

yeah i remember him :)

I mean he's my style in comparison to alot of the other refs in this tournament.

Italians are kind of shaky in the back, Slovikia is too gutless to go forward with a 1 goal lead. I hate both teams. Is there any senario in which NZ and Paraguay could collude their way into the round of 16.
 
Seriously what we have seen of Italy so far is far from World Class. They look like a bunch of primadonnas diving here diving there they should be on the national dance team(maybe they are). They have to shape up by the second half or they will be the next stunning casuality.

This year the cup looks wide open. The South Americans seem to have the strongest and conditioned squads that I have seen so far.
