I heard him on radio a while back and was actually quite impressed with the way he came across. I always imagine refs to have a squeeky voice and sound a bit camp...
 


I'm not surprised, Lippi should have gambled on the likes of Antonio Balotelli and Antonio Cassano, even an aging Francesco Totti. The squad is predictable and lacking in ideas, especially with Andrea Pirlo missing. No one has ever really stepped in for him and he's not the player he was. Daniele De Rossi is top class but he's not that type of player.

Hopefully Pirlo gives us a good cameo, one of my favourite players over the past few years.
 
Should have nationalized Cambiasso and Milito. Having an Italian last name gets you on the Italy team with these new FIFA nationality rules doesn't it?

I bet Rossi isn't feeling as bad about not being on the Italian squad now... although he should still be with the U.S. ... [Poor language removed].
 

Who cares about Rossi not good enough for us anymore. Vittek goes from should have been red carded to hero.
