Hopefully Frank is in the ears of players like DCL, Pickford and Richarlison getting them on new deals, that would certainly signal a real intent, big bids might still come in.

Gomes, Allan and Doucoure’s combined wages make me want to do a massive cry.

If I was Dom/Richy I'd be fuming at wages some clearly nowhere near as important players are getting

Therein lies our problem, we're paying top 6 wages to 3 centre mids in Gomes, Allan and Delph who either aren't good enough or are always injured. Doucoure gets a pass from me but otherwise we need a total clearout really.

Gomes on over £100k a week and still has a contract until 2024.
No way he’s leaving. Sadly.
Think the most likely outcome would be to loan him to Spain and part pay his wages.

We seriously need to stop giving away £100k p/w contracts like they are absolutely fine.
