Gazza when we had him would be better than Sol Campbell now. And throughout their careers Gazza was a better player overall.

Gazza was, to put it nicely, coming towards the twilight of his playing days when he was with us. I don't know if it was just me though but he still had that bit of magic about him, I couldn't take my eyes of him for a minute.

I've just read that back and I'm aware it couldn't sound gayer if I just wrote that he had nice legs and then drew a heart around it. I don't care.

Career wise, I'll take your word for it. The stats don't seem to indicate that, but stats can & are misleading.
