The idea changing a manager can fix things without changing the board is just pure fantasy. Moshiri has shown how incapable he is at making suitable appointments, yet people want him to pick yet another manager. It is mindboggling stuff to me.

The board and Moshiri are to blame for the appalling state of the club, not the fans, not any manager, not any DOF, not any player.

Youre in dream land mate. The owner isn’t walking away from an investment close to a billions whether we go down or stay up, relegation bakes him in. The club isn’t surviving in this league or the one below without his cheques for another two seasons.

It’s a lovely ideology but it’s not realistic or achievable in the time frame required for the club to stay up this season and that is were all our energy needs to go.

Anyone who thinks change is going to be quick and painless is naïve.

My point is the club trumps all, I don’t care if Danger Mouse is head of the board at the moment, this club needs every chance to stay in the PL and we don’t have time to be angry or for civil war. Football is the priority at the moment.

This club staying up is my priority.

Not to mention how terrifying it is to think we could be about to go through another farcical Moshiri managerial recruitment saga.

The idea the club cannot survive without Moshiri is also based on zero evidence, either footballing, or economic. Football clubs are bought and sold all the time and they carry on, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse, but they carry on. Everton football club will exist long after Moshiri is no longer the owner, the club is far bigger than this owner or this board, and maybe they need to realise that.
