Not having a go at you, just don't think what he says makes any sense. If his hamstring was tight, doesn't matter if he plays 30 or 90.

90 minutes places a lot more stress on your hamstring than 30 minutes does, it's simple math. He didn't want to risk him unless he was needed in the hope that the team he played would do the business.

We were let down on the pitch by the players today, Moyes can't legislate for an utterly gash performance from pretty much everybody.

How so ? The point is he is saying he was fit enough to play some of the game but not all of it. Makes perfect sense.

There's plenty to be unhappy about tonight without accusing Moyes of lying about a player being injured.

Distrubution from Howard, Jagielka and Distin was abysmal tonight (worse than usual).

Pienaar, Baines and Osman all sub par. I'd probably give the latter a breather at the weekend.

Typical Naismith offering bugger all.

Jelavic is struggling badly and has been for sometime now, should probably be dropped.

Was a poor performance but we're still in with a shout. We will have to perform better though and collect more points from out harder games, but tbh I feel more confident playing the likes of spurs etc than the worser teams

Re Jelavic...does anyone else think he looks knackered at the START of the game, every week? Also, he's very rarely in the middle, wee he should be. He's the 'out ball' on the wing...the position of death to all strikers under Moyes. At least three times tonight he called for someone to get closer to him, but it didn't happen. Currently Anichebe has more drive and a better eye for goal Jelavic needs to sort his fitness out.

Sly the way people still moan and blame Naismith. He did ok tonight. Players were alot worse than him but lets just blame Naismith

FFS Naismith!!!!!!

I'd pretty much agree with that. Anichebe to start in the cup for me.

Which is why we are flattering to deceive.

But to me Moyes shows again his limitations as a manager. He gets to a certain point... Then cant push on.

While budget and a chairman who doesnt really give **** when it comes down to it, hurts us... We have quality to win at least 6 out of those 12 draws

You always revert to calling us bottlers when things go wrong. Closing out 4th is ridiculously hard to do. We haven't got a divine right to steamroller Southampton or Swansea. Yes, they are points dropped, but we're near enough maxing out, returns wise, on the quality we've got in the squad, imo. We need more now, or we will stand still. That's down to the club. They will proceed to allow Moyes to bring in two loans (LOL) that both have to be strokes of genius to get us 4th.

Well, obviously, all players are more susceptible to injuries the more minutes they play.

Slick pitch, tight hamstring, should have been stapled to the bench if that's the case.

He saw what Shaw did to Chelsea and adjusted accordingly.

And agree, it wasn't necessarily the decision that changed the match.
