This is simply not true, it´s conspiracy delusion. Moyes NEVER admited it (talking about Man. United job) and you can find totally different story in SAF book / you cann´t find any prove for this untrue information (from solid source). First time I saw this conspiracy delusion in toffeeweb, many evertonnians used it and it´s still believed by many blues, which is sad.
And idea "media try undermine Everton" (all media ? :)) is another conspiracy delusion :) Please, verify information, critical thinking is useful ...

Ferguson wrote it in his autobiography you flannel.

Delusional Saints fans slag Everton fans off. Delusional Everton fans slag off the saints fans.

The rule of thumb is that 90% of people are delusional muppets.

Don't mess with the big boys.

how will you feel if you have an average season in the cups, play a more direct game (lots of hoofs to the big fella up top) albeit, sound defensively and finish a respectable 7-8th place?

given the money etc that you are about to apparently spend?
That makes little sense. Your squad isn't better than ours don't kid yourself. The reason you finished a few places higher than us is because you had a decent manager, we had a poor one.

That's why he was sacked and we're now taking your manager, because we can.

When Koeman has finished spending the "war chest" that our very nice new major shareholder is kindly supplying, our squad will urinate all over the squad that Koeman managed to get to 6th place with.

He'll be expected to do better than "7-8th place" that quote.

lol

It's pure amazeballs that some Saints fans think they are even in the same page with Everton.

Most of them will be younger lads who've never seen Everton win anything and therefore think we're on a par with them having not won a trophy in their lifetimes. They seem happy to blank out the fact that we've performed far better than them in the Premier League era alone though which a lot of people seem to see as the only time period that clubs can be compared these days. We've still matched their overall trophy count in the dismal Premier League era though with our FA Cup win.

I usually find it laughable when clubs with no titles like West Ham start to get carried away with how big a club they are, but West Ham actually are a bit of an anomaly in that they are still a fairly big club, whilst Southampton are not. West Ham have a decent sized fanbase and will be moving to a new stadium where they will be able to sell 50,000+. Southampton's record attendance is at St Mary's with just over 32,000 lol. 56th on the list for English clubs. Our season ticket holders alone almost surpass that pitiful number.
