Can't wait to get home now and watch the game then straight on the lash to top off a fine Saturday evening.

Big 3 points today, lads will be full of bean's when city come to Goodison next week and hopefully a signing or 2 this week would really build the momentum

Proper boss that.

Played well on the counter, and took our chances when they came our way. Crisp, quick passing and great defending... Everyone had a good game.

Disappointed with Southampton to be honest, their only tactic seemed to be knock it up to Pelle which our centre halves had under control.

WE'VE GOT A DIAMOND CALLED ROSS BARKLEYYYYYYYY

The difference a week makes. from doom and despair last week to two games unbeaten, our striker scoring some great goals and barkley being a top midfielder.

is it too early to be optimistic, especially as we are meant to be signing two more attacking players?

Great to have some optimism mate. Shows you how much Everton affect our weekends/lives that we all spend so much time on here being miserable through the week so it's nice to have a day like today where we are all buzzing ;)

How long will it take to finally just build a team around Lukaku? When he thinks he's the main man and is full of confidence, he plays like that.

All the top sides have one player who is accommodated because they are brilliant, and Lukaku can be that for us if we want him to be.

Let's see where we are 10 games in after players have been signed and have had time to bed in before judging whether we are going to finish in the top 3 or the bottom 3.

Just back from the game, superb win, Ross Barkley was outstanding, Lukaku back to what he does best score goals. Mention to for Kone formed a very good striking partnership with Rom.
Happy days !!
