How can Barkley play in the hole/as a number 10 in a 4-3-3?

It could be a form of 4-3-3 rather than a diamond when either striker goes wide but surely in that case Barkley would play wide as well, assuming he's part of the front 3.

I just think Barkley will play as a 10 out of possession and join the front line and make it a three wherever possible.

That's why a lot depends on Coleman as I think we'll pack the box every time we get it wide on the counter.

Lot depends on Coleman today I reckon.

That said, we'll probably play the same formation with Cleverley and Kone as wingers or something haha

I think Kone and Lukaku will drift wide when we don't have the ball. But in possession it'll be 4-4-2.

You're right about Coleman. Width from the fullbacks is essential today. Just wish Oviedo was able to play.
