You have just got to love Roberto and his positivity. Quoted today as saying we will qualify for CL if we win our three games, despite being a point behind.
Clearly confident that Arsenal will drop points somewhere

Oooh Chico the write up was really massive. And the pics gave sentimental vibrations. I loved the Shoot Magazine in the 70s!
I think the EFC away support will be massive for one the of the most important games for many years! COYB!

Wonderful pictures Chico - togger porn indeed!

Far more confident of a win this match than the previous couple, S'ton have lost a little of their mojo recently and think some of their players minds are on the World cup, especially after Rodriguez injury.

I'm looking forward to world cup too but will be awfully sad to see this Everton season end, whereever we end up position wise it has been the most exciting and genuinely fun season in many a year.

Nice one Chico. Love that photo of Seamus scoring that screamer in the first game. Also laughing at how slim Michael Robinson used to be, the fat, gel haired blert.
For anyone wondering (if it hasn't been asked earlier in the thread) The Dave Watson being outjumped by fat Mike on the cover of Shoot is not the boss former Everton legend. It's an earlier (not as good) Dave Watson who played for Man City and various other clubs. Including Soton obviously

Never an easy place to go to so it's a measure of Martinez's work that I'm feeling relatively positive about the game. He must sneak into my house every morning and slip a gary into my morning coffee.

Tbh it is the 4 pts dropped from Palace away and Spurs at home that I'd be most disappointed in as think those were our worst performances once we had our team in place (sans the away derby which was injury riddled).

But every team has a few bad performances a year, we've had several wonderful ones this year to at least balance it out, I even enjoyed the one above - if we'd lost Baines last year at half time not a chance we'd have even got a pt.
