for those comparing us with villa and sunderland

they didn't have as supposedly good individual players as us yet let in 3-5 goals every game and show so little fight.
we are worse in every way.

76 min: Vlasic goes on a positive run to the edge of the Saints area before shifting inside and playing a ball out to the right, where there isn’t an Everton player within 20 yards of it. I can only assume he imagined someone wearing royal blue in his peripheral vision.

I was going to comment on that. I think Vlasic had every right to play the ball into the open space on the right, what he wouldn't expect was that not one Everton player was prepared to make a run into the space. We were devoid of any option down the right once Lennon had to drop to full back...I think this is what Royle was whispering to Unsworth...but Unsworth replaced the 'tired' Mirallas with Lookman on the left, when Vlasic should have been the first sub to exploit the right side. A lot of the complete mess we are watching currently is down to Unsworth ,his 'favourites' team selections and his lack of basic secure football tactical knowledge. Quite seriously, many of the ex footballers on here, pro or amateur, could set up Everton better than Unsworth, with the current players. Why was Siggardson the left back cover for the past it Baines? Why play Keane on the left? Why persist with DCL after 30 minutes when it was obvious he would get nothing out of the Southampton centre backs? Rooney should have been on before half time, with instructiuons to stay up front and rough up Southampton a little. If that didn't wirk, give Sandro a chance. Poor Lennon, rarely gets to complete a game in his true position, although he tried hard at full back he was outnumbered a lot of the time. That's the sort of problem a slight tactical adjustment can help.So much more. A proper manager and players in their true positions, and some encouragement, and we will be OK. Unsworth must no be left in charge any longer.

What happens when the straw breaks the camels back ? Fans boo a bit more and that’s it.

If this was Liverpool in same position you’d have thousands of fans marching but we all just sit on our arses and moan and wonder why nothing changes lol

Maybe so but if we lose to Moyes and get trounced in the derby the anger will be off the scale

The scariest thing for me is, I watch a lot of football maybe to much but in this league we are by far the worst 'team' in it and even with a January window I can't see it saving us!

I wonder is this fella has a big enough closet and enough hangers for the current bunch ?
