2-0 to them as a certsin Irishman will no doubt break his 45 games without a goal streak becsuse he's playing against us.

We are crap. Away from home we are really crap. They are crap but we are crapper. I don't see us getting anything out of this game except a higher blood pressure

Yes, I know, you can argue about every position. Our situation seems to be getting more serious by the week, while Crystal Palace are showing clear signs of improvement.

And Moyes, the players and the fans are pulling together at West Ham. "West Ham, roared on by the home fans, were the better side after the interval but could not force a second goal."

That leaves three teams still struggling; Swansea, West Brom and us.

..at this stage it really doesn’t matter about the others, although I agree it’s hard to identify three worst teams than us. We simply need to pick up points to stay in touch with those in mid-table. We really do need 4 wins before the January window to keep our heads above water.

By the way, every time Vlasic has played in that wide position we’ve looked even more vulnerable than usual. He doesn’t support his full back.

Actually will 5 at the back help the team from leaking goals? Lennon and Baines as wing-back.

Pickford

Keane Jagielka Williams

Lennon Gana Schneiderlin Baines

Sigurdsson

Calvert-Lewin Sandro

Subs: Mirallas, Davies, Vlasic, Lookman, Robles, Kenny, Baningime.

Unavailable: Niasse (suspended); Bolasie (not match fit); Barkley, McCarthy, Coleman, Funes Mori, Holgate (all injured).

It may not be necessary after all. Team news;

David Unsworth expects to have Phil Jagielka and Morgan Schneiderlin back for Sunday’s game against Southampton - but says the trip to St Mary’s will probably come too soon for youngster Mason Holgate.

Jagielka was rested for Thursday’s clash against Atalanta, while Schneiderlin, who was suspended for the visit of the Italians, has also been nursing a toe problem.

The pair will train ahead of the game on the south coast in a bid to prove their fitness but Unsworth doesn’t expect Holgate to overcome a groin problem in time.
