That Everton radio gives me a heart attack. I watched it on Spanish TV while listening to the commentary on there. It does not reflect what's going on on the pitch. Made me panic sounded like Southampton were gonna score when they were on the half way line.

The guy who does the commentary has a real “oh no, oh no!” quality to his voice whenever he gets excited (which he gets excited often).

Amid several other options I gave MOTM to McNeil, partly because he took his goal so nicely and partly because I may not have a lot of other opportunities to award him MOTM given the qualities other players are showing this season. C'mon McNeil and show up my hedging faith for the weakness it is.

You feel with a striker who can cause damage in the box we could very good. Created some very dangerous situations but it seems we need a lot of those to get a goal or two.

We’re definitely a “difference maker” short of being a very good team. Just missing that extra bit of quality in the final 3rd
