We look a solid unit this season , only concern a few injuries and the quality drops off immensely. Also lampard dropping the galatico paid off. Just maybe he knows what he’s doing

Will be absolutely devastated if we don't pick up all three points here with just potentially two injuries to our best starting XI in Lewin and Patterson.

Southampton are appalling coming into this on the back of two consecutive defeats.

I think that midfield three and back line needs to carefully time their tackles around our box as there is arguably nobody better in Europe at striking a free kick than Ward Prowse.

Optimistically, going for a 2-1 to us.

We came back after falling behind in an away game. To a team that had beaten us well in the last two meetings at St Mary's. Irrespective of their form (and let's not forget they beat Chelsea) that's a really good result.

Great game management again, very impressed with Lampards attitude in that respect. 2:1 up away from home. They start putting the pressure on, so he floods the midfield to slow it all down! Ages since we have seen such common sense, well done all involved!

Thought our game management was poor like. We couldnt keep the ball at all. Davies tried to play a pass to an isolated maupey and we lost it, was just what kept happening rather than slowing it down rather than gaining control. Not a dig at Davies, was a pattern throughout the team from 70minutes onwards.
