Sound pressure level at the bottom of the stand was measured at 205db, which is simply a continuous shockwave. It literally distorted the air and caused it to "clip" like an amplifier clips when it's overdriven. The loudest "sound" near sea level is 194db*. 202db is enough pressure to kill you instantaneously. 180db is what 1lb of TNT produces at 15 feet. A 357 magnum pistol measures around 156db.
Additionally the test stand is still there. It's visible from South Huntsville. It's huge. The "mist" in the video are large water jets they used to try and attenuate the shockwaves.
