I know...thing is he was banned...and his account deleted - After he abused the Admin, and said "he was leaving for good" - trying to gain alot of attention at the same time. Then a month later he is back on...with a different account...Admins do nothing :unsure:...

...He wont get banned again. It is a forum afterall - all about opinions - not matter how annoying they are.

I got banned for **** all and I could not get back on for ages. It was only the intervention by Chico that got me back in. Shocking mate.

Well Spain are not that good a nation because before the last tournament they were never in contention.

It comes down to the basic skill of pass and move, control and look up. Having 3 or 4 options to pass to. The Dutch do it, the Brazilians do it. We should be able to do it, but we select players who would never have got in the International setup if they never played for Liverpool.

But we just lacked so much. It wasn't just about great performance by Spain, it was lack of invention, mobility, composure, you can't legislate for giving the ball away in vital areas.

You can't tell me that falling down and getting a freekick is more advantageous than marauding in on goal. Which is what we did tonight. Everytime we had the chance to go down we did.

Yes Spain are a very good side, but they are not immortal. We have beaten them before. We battered them years ago with Lineker, and they had a really solid side then.

If your own players are performing then you give yourself a chance.
 
Spain came out with a fully fit squad, arguably their best, England came on and played some above average players - Downing, Heskey, Abonglahor - or however you say it.

There was no link between midfield and attack. The defence shouldve stayed teh same, but Bekcham, Lampard and Crouch all shouldve started. And Young ahead of Downing too.

However it is a friendly, and Capello mightve just been clever enough to test a range of players rather than put a victory as priority.

I've never seen England play like that at any level, Capello obviously hasn't aswell which is why he made the comment.

Both teams have different styles and Spain's is far more effective.

Its a patched up side though - 1st half we have 1 world class player on the pitch in John Terry when Spain have about 6-7.

I think Johnson and Cole have been outclassed on the wings by their wingbacks and wingers.

Lampard and Carrick made the passing a bit better but and pushed things forward a little but still nothing much, especially with Crouch playing the support striker not giving much help.

Carrick cant control a game like a Lampard or Gerrard, and Barry is just cover so the 1st half midfield was a mess.

I thought Heskey was doing all the leg work while Agbonglahor got lost.

Agbonglahor is not an out and out striker, and again didnt do much. Carlton Cole's been on 10 minutes and almost scored - he's a striker and why he's scored goals this season, his movement is better. Agbonglahor is a winger still learning how to be a striker, showed he doenst know where the space is as a striker. As a striker Defoe, Bent, Rooney and Owen all should be picked over him.

As for Jags -- the pass will be the papers whipping piece getting villain of the match and a 4 out of 10 (not forgetting the fact that everyone's passing was woeful at times or Upson left his man and mistimed his header for the 2nd goal).

James' career is over this season IMO.

Overall...got beat by the best side in Europe with a lot of players out injured. No big shakes but no new boy could claim a stake.
 
I would have liked to have seen it as an opportunity to instill some more confidence and go for a morale lifting victory. I would never see a defeat as acceptable in exchange to see how [Poor language removed] some players are. I mean everyone knows about Downing and how [Poor language removed] he is.

Ah, Ghost done exactly what you said too... thought by abused the admin you meant Ghost saying I am the type of person who would throw boiling hot coffee at disabled people :unsure:

As for admins doing nothing - I'll have you know HB served his full suspension. As did Ghost.
