I've always said that Villa is a much more complete player than Torres. He would have made most defenders look bad the way he took Jags on. Terry or Ferdinand included imo

He's from Huyton.
A knowsley boy.
Listen Toccyboy, your pushing your luck now. Fight is now scheduled for 2021![]()
You are though. Be proud of your Knowsley roots.
Anytime mate, anytime.
I don't know mate, players can make the odd sloppy pass here and there. Ashley Cole did lately didn't he? It does happen and it's not the first time a player has given the ball away in that area. Upson did twice in the second half, the midfield dealt with it though.
Experience could come into it, I see your point. Bar that he looked solid though and as you say there's lots of time to improve.
Not particularly proud of Knowsley despite me coming from there, and dare i open a can of worms, i will be even less proud if Everton move to the borough.
He did, but it was a backpass so it was a bit different. Thing is tho Ashley Cole has played loads of games for England and made very, very few errors like that. Jags has come in and done one in his first game (against real opposition). Obviously you could say that it'd be the same numbers if he then went 40 something games without making a mistake, but new players are surely far more likely to make mistakes like that than experienced internationals. I think Jags is well equipped to make it, his attitude is excellent. He won't let it bother him too much other than making sure it doesn't happen again.
Fair enough, don't turn this into a Kirkby thread.![]()
Available tonight, Lescott isn't.
So you rate Upson ahead of Jagielka?
Oh dear.
