was there any contact on that red card at all? the ref had been letting it go all game and a red card for ???? I havent seen a good replay
there was - elbow.
Im not, nobody is gonna buy him now.
Not for me. Spain's game broke down there tonight. The only way they swung it was by bringing big Llorentes on and mixing it up. That wont trouble Argentina. Portugal, yes. Not Argentina....or Germany for that matter.I doubt it.
Spain will take Argentina.

I can't see it to be honest, Argentina aren't going to put ten men behind the ball and frustrate Spain, they'll have to come out and play, and I can't see them out passing Spain. Messi might swing it for them, but they've got to find a way to get the best out of him and keep the shape of the side. Mascherano's going to need some help.
Hopefully I'm wrong.
I really dont think their passing game has got going this tournament. Of course, they knocked it around at 1-0 tonight once they'd broken Portugal down with the goal, but it was all ole stuff in the middle of the park with **** all end product.
I think people are making way too much of Argentina's defensive 'weaknesses'. I think they have enough quality there to cope, and upfront there's no match for the firepower they have in Higuan, Tevez, Aguero, Messi.
They've struggled because team's have sat back, pushed ten men behind the ball and cut off all the space in behind, it's very hard to break down, no matter what level you play at. Inter proved that against Barca. But Spain still control the ball, they dictate the play more often than not.
And if Argentina come out and play like they have so far then I can see Spain opening them up. If Maradona persists with Mascherano holding, Messi as an advanced central midfielder and two wingers they are going to find it really tough. They have great flair and attack in waves but I haven't seen a level of control in there play.
They'd be better off playing like Inter or Portugal, but I'm not sure they have the players capable of doing it. It's not so much there defence but there midfield. If Veron is brought in as a deeper lying playmaker they might have a solution.
