Pedro Mendes is a very good footballer. It wasn't because of him that Portugal played like crap during this WC.

Btw, neither Moutinho or Fernandes were called to the World Cup. So, yes Queiros is the only responsible for the call ups, and for that crap football we played.

To be honest with you I've always liked Pedro Mendes if for no other reason he's embarrased City on a number of occasions. A year or 2 ago I actually thought he'd be a decent addition to the side given that we didn't have any long range shooters. Sadly with the jubalini ball it pretty much took that part of his game away. Its just that Mutinho has been annointed as the 2nd coming on this board so I was suprised.

No one has the balls to show him the door. It's a disgrace.

Portugal has been known for playing attractive football. Now we're just a defensive side which happens to have one of the top players in the world. Brilliant Queiros.
