Surprised by some of the comments on here. The squad has barely changed since summer. It's hugely imbalanced. It lacks pace. It has some good players seriously out of form. It has players still lacking full fitness, playing because we need options. It's in need of major overhaul over two or three windows. The return since Allardyce came in has been pretty much as expected, albeit heavily weighted towards the first few matches.

So with that in mind, what were you expecting? Or would you rather lose 8-0 but have a couple of shots on target for top trumps down the pub?

Personally the only surprise today was that we were quite open. I thought we'd sit in because it has worked for us. I'd be happy doing that until the end of the season. But you can see Allardyce is trying to sort out defence and attack. Today it didn't work and I wouldn't be surprised to see a return to defensive focus next time out.

Its unacceptable. Simple as. Attitude stinks when it goes 2-0. Too many old or average players. We're a mid table team at best right now on the last few performances in the league. And I know Spurs are a very good side. Its the manner in which we are beaten.

The answer to that is Walcott, as much as some don't want him he would improve our attacking threat massively.

Maybe Walcott of a few years. I haven't been impressed with him in years.
