Walcott and a LB and we should be safely in the top half. Liked the look of Tosun, defo looks CL quality, which means we'll be lucky to keep hold of him beyond this season.

The only way to look at this season now is that we need 4 more wins out of the 15 remaining games for safety. The only way forward for Everton then is a complete clean out from top to bottom and start again. I dont know what is worse, watching the worst team and manager in the league or watching the hierarchy all sitting on stage blowing their own trumpets and patting each other on the backs oblivious to the fact that their empire continues to crumble around them.

Mate I believe Sam knows he isn't here next season either way and what you get now is a half arsed effort as long as we aren't near the bottom 3.

I don't. I believe he wants to be here beyond his short contract so he has to earn the contract. Because it's short term then January is his only chance of getting things right in the market or he is gone at the end of the season.

The way I see it is he has come in and went ultra defensive and we got points and recently he has tried to be a little more expansive and it has failed badly. Koeman failed, Unsworth failed and now BFS has failed. They are Koemans players and now is his chance to shake things up in the market. Think any manager would fail with the players we have...total unbalance not helped by having a right back playing left back and probably our most gifted player forced to concentrate on covering rather than play to his strength. That is our left hand side being exposed by everyone. Kenny floundered tonight and Cocu floundered as usual and our DM's could not cope.

After that performance I will be very surprised if Walcott is still interested. Southampton alongside Shane Long on today's performance is better for him than anything we can offer.

Forty points suddenly seems a long way off again.

He's hardly ever played centrally. And when he has done, he has done well. Like last week when we changed it.

I couldn't disagree more here. Rooney has been appalling in the 10 position. He played 3 or 4 in midfield in early December and was great. Ever since he's been diabolical.
He's scored 40% of our goals. Was the only player today that didn't look to pass back and could keep the ball under pressure. Frankly he was the only one who looked like he gave a rat's.

Our wide players and defence are the biggest problem. I will hold of on Tosun until seeing him some more.

I can see why Sam wants Walcott but I just worry he might not be the same player he was.

Frankly I think there's a good chance if we get Walcott Sigurdsson will go late on in the window but Bolasie has been just as poor.

First 15 minutes we weren't over run....that's about as good as can be claimed for that horror show.

The feller's clueless mate, surely you see that?

Had a goal disallowed, got behind the defence once or twice, had a hold up player that brought players into the game. It was a decent effort against a better side and we conceded from an absolute mess on our left.

I don't agree he's clueless. Not one bit. I think the squad is very very poor.

Honey moon period ended before Chelsea. 4th time under this fat headed idiot we’ve not had a shot on target. I said a few weeks back were safe now can’t we actually have a go at sides? Try and play a bit? 7 points above stoke now we’ve got West Brom Leicester arsenal In the next 3 not an easy run, even if people believe West Brom are shocking they’ll be battling knowing they can get something next week a point doesn’t work next week. We’ve signed a Just eat driver and don’t even give the fella any real service. Another 4 months of this blues god help us.

He offers nothing as a 10.

Absolutely nothing.

And to suggest we will sell Siguurdson is moronic.
