As long as it's not from B+Q mate?
Otherwise it's like Spurs and Everton, prone to leaks and poor craftsmanship.

Some company called 'That Sinking Feeling'. Seemed appropriate.

I wouldn't be laughing at them right now, I dont see us as any better, and you know they will turn into Bayern in the cup game.
We weren’t being blown up as title contenders all season under the best manager that’s ever lived who definitely isn’t finished, only to find themselves probably miles away from the top 4 come the end of the season.
Some ppl say the same about us, and a section of our fans.
I know a few Spurs fans, and not 1 has even hinted at that.
We finished 12th last season, where did they finish? It looks like only one of these teams has gone a long way backwards to me.
Last season irrelivant mate.
I do take your point though, but its the media that drove that spurs Hype train, oh and maybe Harry Redknap.
They are in the same boat as us, appointed a big name and want to close the gap with the top teams.
The thing is, they’re no closer to doing that than they were under Poch, in fact they’re further away. They finished 2nd and got to a Champions League final under him.
Mourinho isn’t interested in bringing them closer to challenging the top teams, he just wants to be able to say he’s won them their first trophy since 2008 and then ride off into the sunset. They need to move on from this manager soon and stop this decline.
Well I think their fans would LOVE to win a cup, wouldn't we ???
Obviously, but that’s not the point, you’re talking about Spurs wanting to catch up to the top teams, well winning the Carabao Cup isn’t going to help them do that if they finish 7th and lose all (both) of their best players in the summer. It just puts you in a position that’ll actually make it much harder to win trophies going forward. But Mourinho isn’t arsed about that, he’s only interested in adding a 400th League Cup to his own CV.
You are changing the goalposts, winning is a mentality, and winning a cup brings success, success attracts players.
Fergy, Pep try and tried to win the Carabaocup/league cup, becasue it sets a tone of winning.
Poch did nothing in the end, had he added a cup, Spurs fans would have loved that.
Chelsea are winners, they may not win the league every year, since Abramovic come to them, no other Club has won more trophies.
This is complete nonsense by the way. Poch left Mourinho one of the best squads in the league with two of the best players in the league in a position to build a dynasty and potentially challenge the top teams for years to come. He racked up 3 successive top 3 finishes and had them well in the mix with the top teams.
Mourinho has come in and smashed it down playing some of the dullest, most negative football in the league and on top of that you can’t even call it “winning” football, because they’re finishing lower than they were under Poch! By the time Mourinho leaves they are going to be in a rebuilding position similar to clubs like Everton, needing to spend a fortune to get back to the level they were. That does not breed a winning mentality and winning the League Cup is not going to entice one of the best players in the world in Kane, to stay at the club that’s been reset to the position they were in when he first broke through the academy.
we can agree to disagree mate.
ppl will have different views on it, but who was better Moyes or Royle!?!
cup winner for me.
Think this one deserves it's own thread...I mean David Moyes is clearly a better manager than Joe Royle was. Sorry to anyone offended by that.
