Yup. Dunno where they’ve got all these ideas of false grandeur from. They’ve had a decent team last few seasons and one or two good European runs but have generally spent most their recent history in mid table.

I actually had a feeling that Mourinho with his career on a downward trajectory, would come out fighting against the Super League, regardless of what his actual views on it are.

The fact that Spurs have done his bidding for him is quite amazing.

I think he'll be delighted with a pay-off from them. It's a job he never looked comfortable in or like he wanted.

I can see him taking a national job now.
