Spurs

If Kane leaves then Spurs will have £100-150mil to replace him with.

If he stays then hes going to keep them around top 6 for the next 5 years.

Spurs would be better selling him. I can see him falling off a cliff form wise at some point. I don’t think he’d even as good now as he was a few years back under Pochettino. If he loses any more pace at all he’s going to struggle to score as many as he does or he’ll end up like Rooney almost playing in midfield. He needs to be at a team where he can just get tap ins and Spurs aren’t that team. Bayern would be perfect for him if Lewandowski ever left, City would also be a brilliant choice now. If he stays though I just can’t see him hitting 25 plus goals every season.

Outside of him and Son (and Bale) there’s nothing much quality in the squad, a lot of athleticism but even then the powerhouse modified that Pochettino had with Dembele Wanyama Alli isn’t there any more and the likes of Hojbjerg Sissoko Lo Celso even let Siggurdson and Davies outplay them.

They’re just a classic case of a slow decline where previous top quality like Vertonghen Walker Aldeweireld Demebele Alli Eriksen Kane, has either been replaced by players who are ok but not as good or have declined. Before you know it you’ve suddenly got a far worse squad on your hands.

I can see Rodgers being offered the job and taking it.

He presents well in the media, very modestly, but I think he sees himself as Big Six manager material.

Leicester in the Champions League would give him a very tough decision to make, but I think his ego would win out.

Rodgers has no loyalty to anyone other than himself.

He showed that at Celtic.

He`d be off like a shot if he got offered the Spurs job.

I think he would go too given the choice. Leicester are on the up, but with London, the stadium and a promise of funds, I reckon he would walk. Its still classed as a bigger job.

I got a lot of stick re Kane and saying he wouldnt score as many none penalty domestic goals as DCL at the start of this seasomn (in fairness it's close). I thought he would be falling off that cliff, be he rejuvinated himself this season. Im not sure how much rejuvination is left though. His body is starting to pick up regular niggly injuries, which Ill be frank, I don't think he is giving enough time to recover. My analysis may be correct but probably just a year too early.

If Spurs had any sense they would flog Kane for £150 million

Sign Danny Ings for £30 million
Appoint Brendan Todgers as new manager
Spend another £150+ million on ballers to play Brendan's attractive style of football.

Levy might have to drop the price on Kane if money's tight.

He just shelled out 35 million to get shut of Jose and his backroom staff.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but out of the 600+ million that was raised for the new stadium, about 500 million was financed through private bonds and only mature 15-30 years from now (so need to worry about them yet), but the remaining 100 million is a straight forward loan that is payable a year from now, am I right?

So Levy's already 135 million in the hole before he even looks at the transfer window.

You’d be mad to leave Leicester. After Man City they have to be the most attractive team in the league to manage imo. They’re minted, have a great young squad and some sort of crystal ball for scouting. They’ll push one of the 4 out and stay there.

Do you think its better job? I dont think it is.
Leicester have a great squad, decent owners. Spurs have got a great ground but they are one Kane sale away from a re build.
Leicester wont be playing Thursday nights next season, he should stay there
