Arsenal, no chance, nothing attractive about that jobCould see him leaving for Arsenal but not Sours.

Spurs would be better selling him. I can see him falling off a cliff form wise at some point. I don’t think he’d even as good now as he was a few years back under Pochettino. If he loses any more pace at all he’s going to struggle to score as many as he does or he’ll end up like Rooney almost playing in midfield. He needs to be at a team where he can just get tap ins and Spurs aren’t that team. Bayern would be perfect for him if Lewandowski ever left, City would also be a brilliant choice now. If he stays though I just can’t see him hitting 25 plus goals every season.
Outside of him and Son (and Bale) there’s nothing much quality in the squad, a lot of athleticism but even then the powerhouse modified that Pochettino had with Dembele Wanyama Alli isn’t there any more and the likes of Hojbjerg Sissoko Lo Celso even let Siggurdson and Davies outplay them.
They’re just a classic case of a slow decline where previous top quality like Vertonghen Walker Aldeweireld Demebele Alli Eriksen Kane, has either been replaced by players who are ok but not as good or have declined. Before you know it you’ve suddenly got a far worse squad on your hands.
I got a lot of stick re Kane and saying he wouldnt score as many none penalty domestic goals as DCL at the start of this seasomn (in fairness it's close). I thought he would be falling off that cliff, be he rejuvinated himself this season. Im not sure how much rejuvination is left though. His body is starting to pick up regular niggly injuries, which Ill be frank, I don't think he is giving enough time to recover. My analysis may be correct but probably just a year too early.
Would you hope he stays at Spurs with the mindset that in 1-2 seasons time he wont be as effective as he is now?
Or do you think with a good manager and say £100mil from his transfer they improve ?
Do you think its better job? I dont think it is.
Leicester have a great squad, decent owners. Spurs have got a great ground but they are one Kane sale away from a re build.
Leicester wont be playing Thursday nights next season, he should stay there
Oh Spurs
They'll push harder for Rodgers now I think. Could forsee a repeat of the saga we had with Southampton for Koeman. Only messier. Not as if Southampton had Champions League football. You can say that again with boghead in charge of them at the time.
They might end up with Eddie Howejust desserts if so.
Be mad if he went there.
Leicester have better owners, better team, better recruitment, more money, CL.
Spurs have a better ground.
And neither will have Harry Kane next season.
It's unlikely I agree, but Spurs have notions, we know that, and Rodgers, well if he was in any way tempted, he'd jib Leicester off, that's my hunch. Whatever else about Spurs, they don't suffer from an inferiority complex and this fashionable, media darlings tag they so expertly continue to cultivate might have a chance with Rodgers. Football isn't logical now if it ever was.
True dat. I guess Spurs can sell a "rebuilding" tale, and that Leicester are at their apex already. If he wins the cup for them, plus top 4, it could be job done maybe. (They are in the cup final arnt they?)
And yeah, footie deffo aint logical!
