Weird from Conte. Thought he'd rather wait for United.
Fair play to them if they pull it off

My thoughts, too. Weird also from Tottenham, I think. He's a big name, but the last thing that powder keg of a club needs is a stick of dynamite like Conte.Weird from Conte. Thought he'd rather wait for United.
My opinion is very clear, and it is only my opinion. We appointed completely the wrong manager for what we need - Spurs did the same based on what is expected at that club.
You cannot cling on to an idea of stability and continuity when you are on the wrong path. If I'm wrong then great because we will have won football games and I am more than happy to live with that.
It all looks very familiar to me though. We have a poor squad, being asked to do things they cannot do by a manager who is extremely unpopular. The club is very divided and morale is extremely low. The manager is being stubborn in his methods, and we are conceding far too many goals. I would love anyone to turn this around, even Benitez for all I care, but there is no evidence in the history of football where a manager can succeed in such a difficult environment.

How can the league be "very competitive" these days if "6-7 teams sweep the other 13 - 14 aside with ease" ?Its not an indictment its the fact that the league is very competitive these days
Brentford beat Arsenal and WHU but lost to Burnley
Brighton drew 0-0 with Norwich then drew 2-2 with Liverpool
Its great but the fanbases are still living in a decade where you had 6-7 teams sweeping the other 13-14 aside with ease and as soon as you aint 9 points clear of 7th in the table your manager needs kicking to the curb.
Either he's loyal to Brighton and wont go mid season or he thinks he maybe can get a better offer in the summerPotter rejected them twice according to some “in the know” on the radio yesterday.
Do that with Tim Sherwood in charge it really doesnt matter with usIf it’s Conte I’m putting a hefty wedge on a Kane hat trick next weekend
