A relatively sleeping giant of a club with an amazing stadium and some quality players. Any new manager needs to be given the freedom to wield the axe on the squad if he deems it necessary, and also given backing to have them Charlemont challenging for the title. Under those conditions, and without needing 100m+, any decent manager should easily have them up there with the top clubs.
 
Why did Conte bin them off in the summer but is willing to take the job now? Strange.
Maybe he was waiting for the Barca or Utd job

Personally think Levy wouldnt agree to his wages/budget/backroom staff etc. Now he's probably had to go cap in hand. Still think its a risky appointment due to personalities
 
All signs point to conte. Decisive by spurs

Meanwhile we’ll lumber on with fat man until we’re just outside the drop zone by New Years when we’ll panic and give dunc the caretaker role when we sack FSW
