Spurs

This is very similar to Liverpool hiring Klopp in 2015. It will be a slow burner but gradually Spurs will improve to the point where they'll be challenging for the title in 3-4 years. Conte will do a Juventus 2011 job on this Spurs squad imo.

This whole situation is a massive embarrassment for Spurs.
To give Nuno basically two months of football, having reached the League Cup quarter finals and being in the top half of the league is hardly a terrible start.
Or do Spurs think they should be top of the league?
Perhaps sacking Kane may have been a better option.
if you can get Conte but it means you have to put up w/ 2 months of Nuno its worth it IMO.

He's gonna have to be as patient as Klopp

and we continue to decline lol
actually we don't really decline, we just hover around in various places inside the trapezoid.

I think we are currently in the nap phase

Its a total nonsense of a comment whichever side its taken from.

On the one hand the clubs dont actually 'lose' any monetary capital of note without those fans watching on Sky etc and the 'loss' from fake rather original shirts would be miniscule.

If you flip it back to the direct contribution those fans have outside of the monetary aspect then clearly you have the added value to sponsors, global brand recognition and the marketing benefits amongst other things.

If you solely look at the comment from a business case then its nonsense.

If you solely look at the comment from a fan and 'love for the game' case then its also nonsense.

"Fans can only have a say if they pay money"

What if British citizens werent allowed to vote if they dont pay taxes?
The bit in bold was not what was being said. The point was about those contributing the least seem to be the ones who moan the loudest. Not about them not having a say if they don't pay.

Who do you think contributes more to a club?

a) people who pay to watch the match either at the ground or on tv and/or buy official merchandise.

or

b) people who do none of the above.

For the record, I'm in group b.

In terms of money? Lost me here...no idea of the relevance as per my post.
