Spurs

Spurs fans singing boring boring Nuno showed everything was wrong with that appointment. Spurs looked a side going nowhere fast with star players just not performing for him.

Conte looks a superb choice and Spurs have acted just in time for me. Rather like Chelsea overcame ridiculous media pressure and endured all the usual misguided barbs when they replaced Lampard, apparently heartlessly and unfairly, Spurs have made the right move and a necessary one

Chelsea really regretted their move when they lifted the Champions League trophy and although Spurs won't be doing that, Conte should steady a side badly adrift and move it towards contention for lesser trophies and the higher places in the league

This whole situation is a massive embarrassment for Spurs.
To give Nuno basically two months of football, having reached the League Cup quarter finals and being in the top half of the league is hardly a terrible start.
Or do Spurs think they should be top of the league?
Perhaps sacking Kane may have been a better option.

Embarrassment? Hardly. We tried to appoint Conte in the summer but he turned us down because (his words) 'the time wasn't right'. Subsequently we appointed the lovely but useless Nuno who made Mourinho's teams look like prime Barca.
We were playing the worst football I have ever seen in 50 years of attendance. Nuno had to go and I assume Conte was approached and a deal was done.

OH yeah Poch I think is a great coach. I thought he had them playing well for most of the time he was there.
Could we get Poch? Obviously this means some fickleness on PSG's behalf and thinking they can do better rather than us poaching him.

Good coach
