Question for the Spurs fans: do you guys still think Sissoko is good?

Last season everyone went crazy for him and I said it was more a case of him being available when they didn't have anyone else than him actually performing. The rest of the team played well enough and he was there to reap the rewards. But I don't know if Spurs fans are still holding on to the idea that he actually was just playing well now that this season he's struggled with everyone else. So I'm curious what you think.

I have never thought he was good, at best a 7.5/10 player.
As for this season, the whole squad seemed to start with a champions league final loss hangover and then Sissoko got a bad injury a couple of months into the season.
IMO, the only reason he should start every week is because N'Dombele hasnt yet settled to the pace of the P/L, (I think he can be a great player) Dier seems to slow for midfield and Winks should have an "A" instead of an "I" in he's name (I'm sort of joking ;-).

to answer your question most spurs fans I go to games with think he’s nothing more than a decent squad player. The fact was that last season he put in decent performances which given his previous performances where he could barely control his feet let alone a football made people think that he was performing better than what he was. He can’t pass, he certainly can’t shoot and finds the basics very difficult to do. That miss at Anfield last season sums him up, clean through on goal with just the keeper to beat and he skies it over the bar with the goal gaping. Fair play the lad can run but ask him to do anything with a football that involves technique and he’ll more likely fall over than carry it out.

An absolutely turbo gash football player. Thank god they rescued us at the last minute from ANOTHER expensive Walsh parasite that we'd still be struggling to give away now.

I had to check that I wasn't in the Everton forum with that appraisal of your own team's players! Too slow midfield - young English player not quite as good as expected. The resemblance to our support is uncanny.

But a couple on GOT have recently said that I can't take or give any kind of Spurs critisism LOL.
Truth is though, I wish I wasn't able to take any critisism of Spurs cos it would mean I was still in my teens ;-).

With Siggi, Morgan and some others I'd just settle for ' he can run'

I like Sissoko.

He is not a very good footballer but seems like a nice fella.

I'm a really really nice fella but not quite as good or young as Harry Kane but I demand that I take he's place in Totnam's and England's team (and as already stated,) cos im a really really nice fella, I will do it for half of he's wages and will also captain England to World Cup Glory ;-).

Did Dier ever get punished?
