I understand the need for pragmatism with our financial hardships and I'm not outraged by any means but I do feel the optics are questionable especially as predatory gambling clashes with the most positive aspect of Everton in my opinion, Eitc.

Couldn’t care who the sponsor is or what it looks like on the kit has no reflection on how we play. What I do care about is that it was the best deal out there and most money which in turn does have an effect on the players we can potentially buy.

Premier League newcomers Watford have sealed a new shirt sponsorship agreement with Stake.com, a Curacao-based online sports betting company and crypto casino, worth a reported UK£5 million (US$6.86 million) a year.

At least we got double Watford did.
Yeah but we are three times a bigger club so if we only got double we have left ourselves short

…I love a bet but I rarely bet on footy, saying that gambling will always be associated with the game.

There are clearly issues for some people with gambling, whilst for others like myself it’s a genuine hobby. In that respect, I suppose it’s similar to alcohol.

Clear association yet we get to the ethical discussion about whether firms making money out of the sport should return some of it. Difficult one for me because I have a bias, but perhaps it would be better tackling the problem rather than hiding it.

If anyone is offended by this they best not watch the Qatar world cup where stadiums were built using human slaves.

Fans cant want us to be financially strong / competing whilst clamouring to be a "nice" club thats finances reflect that of a Championship team.

The reality is we aint an attractive proposition to global sponsers.

Cant have your cake and eat it.
Well, at least it seems the kids' jersies won't have the logo. Some small consolation

Not like Usmanov is clean is it

I miss Chang to be honest

I know that's a beer company of course, but I loved the logo and they genuinely seemed to like sponsoring us

Sometimes it's worth taking a bit less to get the right sponsor, but I guess beggers can't be choosers

You have to weigh up the benefits that come with a sponsorship. Really it should be a partnership between the club and the partner

With Chang is seemed like it was, with SportsPesa it didn't. Let's hope with Stake it's the former and not the latter

I had a Hafnia jersey - yum yum!

Whilst I don't want gambling firms on the front of our shirts. We should have the option as an adult to buy a shirt without the sponsor on just like the kids shirt. I hate how much gambling stuff there is around. But I am adult enough to know my issues can't dictate what the club does.

All I am saying is we should have a choice.

Without the sponsors logo on the shirt it will cost extra. Everton that.
