My post does not indicate Star Wars is no good but I listen to LBC chat on the radio am - it's the hype the fans going dressed up in various characters someone telephoned in and stated no one went to a film premier like Rocky 12345 etc dressed up as a boxer!
Or the rambo series of films in which I thought no 1 was ace, I have stopped watching James bond now, as its been over egged imo
Everyone to their own taste I may find it watchable just never bothered, I know it has a big cult following etc - someone described it as a space soap opera with special effects?
I will just not be bothered as I never seen much of Dr Who either!
only when I was little, I liked the Daleks ok!
I realise Star Wars has millions of followers I wish no disrespect to any of them, apart if they go dressed up!

Pat My late father's name was Patrick the almost christened me Michael - great when he was alive in the 1970.s we would have been stood at the bar as Pat, and Mick!-
I can remember he was a great reader of books and raved about a book he bought in from the Library - Rambo!
so good they made a film of it and a few more that got silly!

Just realised it's Simon Pegg as the alien who yells out 'THAT'S MINE!!' as they fly off with the Falcon. Made me LOL
