Star Wars - Episode VII

Don't understand the jizz-fest about it.

I enjoyed it, no doubt, but it had too much fan service in it and 0 risks with the plot. Basically an advert of Star Wars for the new generation of fans.

However i'm VERY excited for the next movie and for the spin-offs as well, i think the next episode might be amazing if they don't play it too safe like they did with this one. The new characters are likeable, cinematography is great etc. but it's just too predictable to be a great movie.

7/10.

It was basically a rehash of A New Hope, it's set up nicely, but the next one will have to give us something truly new.

This. It's quite obviously been made as part of a trilogy. Hard to judge until all 3 have been viewed. It's just what the fans needed though, something familiar, easy to follow, and no Jar Jar.

Mate, I read this when you first posted it. You are a complete melt. I came into the thread to read about how other people were excited about the film and you done this. Lord of the bellends, you lad.
So he actually dies? I never knew that and just threw it out there for giggles. I must have a bit of Jedi in me

No I don't think so, he's Jedi so wouldn't have children in my opinion. More likely to me it's Han and Leia's daughter. They hid her when Ben turned to the dark side is my theory, not a lot to go on though. There was a massive bond between Rey and Han straight away, and it seemed to me that he and Leia knew who she was.

That's exactly what happened to Luke and Leia, and this was basically remake of a new hope, she is defo Hans and Leias.

Or, she is Luke's daughter, as it seems to allude to quite a lot through flashbacks and the lightsaber. I'm going to watch again tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure Luke is standing at a grave at the end. The grave of his wife? What happened to her? And why did they have to hide Rey? I CANT BLOODY WAIT 2 YEARS FOR THIS FFS
