Drove past the Plaza cinema in Waterloo just before, big queue outside and 5 guys dressed as Stormtroopers marshalling the line alongside someone dressed as Boba Fett. The Costumes were brilliant and it brought back the memory of queuing around the block outside the Odeon on London road as a little kid, just waiting to go and see this amazing new film, whilst guys dressed as Stormtroopers walked up and down the line.

Sensational! Had a twinkle in my eye on a good few occasions. No spoilers from me, other than this: fans of the original trilogy will simply love it. They nailed it, and did Star Wars justice.

The audience broke into spontaneous applause and cheers at the end. Says it all.

It was good, but not great imo. Defo not the 2nd best as I've seen posted. Too much rehashing/'paying homage to' the originals towards the end. Also didn't like that Kylo Ren showed his face, and so much weakness, or that Rey grew so strong so quickly, especially in comparison. Not that I didn't like it! Just, ya know, been waiting 25+ yrs!!

Just back from seeing it. Great film, but my mate fell asleep after 20 minutes after thinking 8 pints before going was a good idea, only to wake up for the final 40 minutes to see all the spoilers

I thought it was great, I would advise going to see it soon before some Meff on here or social media spoils it for you. I thought the acting was the best I have seen in a Star Wars film, the new cast are really strong. You can see where the story is going, the lightsaber battles are really well done. i can't wait for the next one

Second best movie after Empire for me. Agree with the critics. Although if A New Hope had been shot with today's technology and actors, and Jedi didn't have ewoks, then it wouldn't be.

I loved it, and will go and watch it a few more times. Choked up seeing the opening credits, not even arsed.
