Interesting. What makes you think that? It is all a tad queer.

The Niasse deal on some level I believe was corrupt, how who, where and why - is open to conjecture, I believe someone got their back scratched there in a big way and I would suspect it was a two process.

Hence the appointment of Walsh and no longer being a one man recruitment job.

No proof, but just my belief. Something definitely stinks with that deal.

Wonder if the pay-off Roberto received had any 'gagging' clause in it? If there was some malpractice with the deal they'd have had to keep Roberto Schtum.

It's hard to know, could be anyone an agent linked to part of the management team, would be very difficult for the club to prove even if they suspected, I suspect the appointment of Walsh s an additional skill set but also a safeguard to accountability in transactions. Bill put a lot of trust and responsibility on the manager/team with little accountability, rife for corruption.

Maybe this was rife in the British game, it's no coincidence now that most clubs have moved to transfer committees, director of football or technical directors.

Just my opinion really, like I say I have no proof, I don't believe all of the above is just a series of random events though.

Not for me. I dont know a manager desperate for new players who spends £11M on one and doesn't play them.

Looks iffy that transfer to me. Like a favour was being done between two parties.

It could be that he was as incompetent with making transfer decisions as he was with making us win games.

Just a thought.

RECORD PREMIER LEAGUE POINTS TOTAL LAD

No, but he can put the deals in motion, and that is hopefully what he is doing.

We need an overhaul so the fella is gonna be vital, provided the board are actually backing him and Koeman.

hopefully, but we won't know about it so there's no real point in speculating.
